Hey all,

so was talking to an (irl) friend a couple hours ago who I've been friends with for 4 year, we went through phases of being close and then petering out, and recently its been sort of talking once or twice a week, 1-2 hour chats, that sort of thing.

anyhow, got a message req on instagram about an hour ago from a mutual friend, it was a guy she met online on tinder who she told me about, and they had started an LDR within the last 2 weeks, this guy being from france (me and her are from NZ) who she has never met irl, asking me if I knew who she was, responding yes, he told me to stop talking to her as I was impeding on his relationship and that she was uncomfortable me talking to her, obv following up with the friend, I asked her if it was true and she simply put a thumbs up and then unfollowed me, leaving me following her however.

anyway find it funny that our friendship is considered disposable enough to throw away for someone who was just met, I never made any advances on this girl and our convos were always very civil, so doubt it was due to negativity,

anyhow, my aim here is to make friends, so just decided to put that as a sort of intriguing story for everyone, if you wanna ask about it by all means, would love to chat with anyone and everyone! (18+ please!)

Hey all,

went on a bit of jog this evening, paced myself and set a distance PR which I am pretty stoked about, I have however completely cooked my energy reserves and don't have much energy to do much beyond brainrot on my PC, however my circadial rhythm is saying its too early to sleep, so any attempts would be futile, so I've popped a couple magnesium tablets and now waiting till my body says its exhausted enough to turn in for the evening.

As a note, I don't intend to continue conversations past this evening, I am not going into this with the hopes of making life long friends, cause tbh, as we all know, that's not going to happen on this place, as much as we try fool ourselves into believing we could, so unless we connect incredibly well, this is going to be short one off convos, the good thing with that is we can skip the formalities and talk about whatever cause there's little point in getting to know each other.

but just to make some topic of conversation easier to start, I will list off some things about myself,

• I am a 3rd Year marketing and Finance student (not a finance bro, just study it)

• I work as a swim coach / lifeguard

• Main hobbies are: Gym, Swimming, Cricket, Golfing with mates, reading and social drinking

• I have 2 cats and a dog

I hope these are enough to peak some peoples interest and create some conversation, and would really look forward to talking to whomever, wherever, from all walks of life (18+ tho), hope to have some good and interesting chats with you all!
