New bosses are horrible at managing.
Bit of a rant, so basically the cafe I work at casually got bought up by a bigger one that owns multiple pubs and holy shit it's like night and day. My old bosses were great, always worked hard at the job everyday, got rosters out for the month on time, got free food on our breaks, paid every week, and if we needed to take a day off we could.
New bosses, despite having multiple managers, struggle to get roster out on time and normally only for that week, paid bi-weekly, no more free food on our breaks, several items missing or not ordered, will roster you on with no notice except for the app we use, and overall communication is so fucking poor. In the 5 years I've worked in this cafe, nothing this poorly managed has ever happened despite not even having a manager, now these people haven't even owned it for even 6 months and we've had more shit happen. Also as a casual you are expected to find a replacement for a shift and if you don't you're still expected to come in??? There's more but Jesus Christ. Are all jobs like this?
