Did anyone else have to complete a sleep study before getting diagnosed with ME/CFS? I’m kind of nervous that if they find an abnormality with my sleep, the entire scope of my symptoms will get dismissed or overshadowed. I trust my doctor, but I want to approach her and make sure that one singular sleep abnormality doesn’t become the sole issue. My symptoms have been so extreme since 2023 and I just feel like I know my body well enough at this point and have a strong feeling that “insomnia“ or “sleep apnea” is not the overall big picture. (I will still do the sleep study just in case though) Any advice on how to approach my doctor about these concerns without sounding oppositional?
thanks for reading :)
