He’s turning 17 and looking to potentially go into photography as a career (or film making but needs a portfolio for university). I don’t think either of us know much about the gear required but if anyone has any beginner friendly suggestions that aren’t too expensive could they drop them here? I don’t mind spending money on him since he’s been interested in it for years and used my mom’s camera (which is over a decade old now, and I have no idea what brand it is but it isn’t good).
