Thinking about moving to Corona? Here’s what people are REALLY getting for their money in 2026
Been talking to a lot of buyers relocating from OC, LA, and even out of state lately, and one thing keeps coming up:
Corona still gives people more house for the money compared to a lot of nearby cities especially for families wanting more space, newer neighborhoods, and good commuter access.
But buyers are definitely noticing:
- Higher insurance costs
- HOA/Mello Roos in some areas
- Traffic depending on commute
- Rising utility costs
That said, many are still choosing Corona because:
- Bigger homes/yards
- Better value than much of OC
- Access to Temescal Valley, South Corona, Dos Lagos, etc.
- Good mix of newer communities + established neighborhoods
Curious! If you moved to Corona recently, what surprised you most?
Good or bad.
