best cigars to buy when youre still figuring out what you actually like?
so ive been getting more into cigars lately and realized pretty quickly that picking cigars is way more overwhelming than i expected. at first i thought id just buy whatever people ranked highly, but after trying a few different ones i noticed how much personal taste actually matters.
some cigars people call smooth tasted kinda boring to me, while others that were supposed to be strong ended up being the ones i enjoyed most. now im at the point where i want to branch out more but dont really know where to go next.
also trying not to waste money randomly buying stuff that ends up sitting untouched because i didnt enjoy it. part of me wants to start buying boxes of the cigars i already know i like, but another part feels like i should keep experimenting first.
for people who have been into cigars for a while, what were the first cigars that really hooked you? did your taste change a lot over time? and if someone asked you for a few must try cigars right now, what would you recommend and why?
