Twelve Months - Jim Butcher ... and the hangover that followed

Twelve Months the latest novel in the Dresden Files series came out a few months ago.

I loved the book for:

1: Technical mastery of complex emotions

2: Tying up plot points from previous books, especially some related to Peace Talks and Battle Ground

3: Genuine wit and varied shades of humor

4: Managing to surprise me after having read so many of his books.

5: Growth and development of several characters

6: Addressing a real big real world problem without ever standing on a soapbox or speaking to the audience directly.

Normally I read a good book and want more. Sometimes I reread it and the series usually its just on to the next. This time, nope couldn't read anything else for 2 months. I simply had no interest. I didn't expect anything else to come close and didn't want to be disappointed.
