Very specific to Amazon and want current Amazon Employees who are in the loop to chime in hence posted here.
How does Amazon US match teams if the candidate (MSCS) interviews with a front end team but expresses interest in back end internship.l (especially specifically asked by the hiring manager and not recruiter )
- Do they take it as an affront or do their best to match teams ?
Was wondering have to a little smarter with my response to not tick them off given affinity towards back end development. Also, why would a hiring manager (who leads front end development) specifically ask this ? Shouldnt they just evaluate and let the recruiter handle that ? Trying to understand if this is consistent policy with other engineering teams at Amazon.
