I thought this lab grown diamond ring from Amazon (Houston diamond district) but it’s got these flashes that I’ve never seen in a diamond before. Is this a well cut diamond or something else? It came with an IGI report and I tried to see the number on the side and it looks like the last 4 match but I couldn’t see the others.

I’m talking 8-15 people all in. Stay away from these firms.

The partners are cheap, unprofessional, and snaky. I went from big 4 to a small public accounting firm. My experience wasn’t great, antiquated practices and passive aggressive partners.

I moved to another small public accounting firm after a year thinking it would be better, nope. They are more advanced in technology but the partners are cheap and rude. You get the family feel (mostly all the bad parts).

I need to stay at this job for at least 2 years otherwise I’ll be a job hopper. I’m getting my CPA and getting out.

Word to young accountants- stick with larger firms or go into industry.

Hi,

I have a 1.5 carat lab grown oval that is a D color and I’m looking for an alternate ring. I wanted something warm (J or K) with a max of 1.4 ratio and at least Vs quality… was looking for .50 carat to .75 carat.

I found this stone on rarecarat and got it for $515 and I’m having it set in an 18K yellow gold setting. I’m just a little concerned about the center… can someone help me figure out what’s going on with the facets? They look a little different than the other oval brilliants . Does this seem like a good stone?
