Hi I’m hoping there’s someone out there that can help me as I feel like I’m going mad. I live in England.
I moved out of my housing association home mid December of last year, I had until the 3rd of January of this year to leave and paid my last rent payment (which I needed to pay in order to clear my account balance and successfully move into my new home) on the 3rd December 2025.
I wasn’t told either via phone call or email that I’ll owe further money. I had documents sent to me via email confirming the end of my tenancy and within that it says I have until the 3rd January 2026 for the property to be empty. I was gone by the 19th Dec.
Fast forward to mid April of this year, I was walking the dog, and received a text message from my old landlord, in which it says I have an outstanding balance of £49.58. I called the housing association, and i was told my final payment only took me to the 30th December, not the 3rd January. A bit of a back and forth between me and the agent, I then made a formal complaint. I provided the evidence stating my tenancy ends on the 3rd not the 30th.
Today I received the results from the investigation which they have concluded I owe the money as I was told my rent payment took me to the 30th and I’ll have to pay 3 days of rent afterwards, something which definitely would have stuck in my mind if I was told that. I most definitely was not told this. I was told my final payment has gone through, best of luck with the new house!
It’s not the first issue I have had with them, they previously paid compensation twice because of damp and mould issues.

Is there anything I can do at all?

Hi, I’m awaiting to start a job within the catering section of a small hospital. It’s been a process ongoing for over a month, after sending my immunisation report I was told I was missing an important vaccine, so I had that vaccination yesterday.
I got an updated immunisation report, but now I cannot for my life see anything TB/BCG/tuberculosis, nothing. Nothing has been mentioned by occupational health, I don’t know if they’ve noticed something on the documents that I haven’t. They have only asked for a scar check.
I don’t have a scar. My siblings had their TB jab, 1 doesn’t have a scar. I’m sure I would’ve had mine if they did (both older siblings and younger).

I really didn’t want the vaccination but for the job I put my thoughts & feelings aside & got it done, but I really don’t want to have to have a 2nd jab. My question is, is a TB jab compulsory to work in catering at a hospital? If I decline, do I lose this job opportunity…

PS if I have posted this in the wrong subreddit then I apologise, I’ve not used Reddit in a while.
