Wondering if anyone else experienced something similar after leaving OMC and had advice—

I had referred someone while working at IPG, and their 3-month anniversary fell during my 2-weeks notice. The policy clearly states you both need to be employed on the 3-month anniversary.

OMC HR had told me previously that I would be grandfathered into getting the legacy IPG referral bonus—not the reduced OMC referral rate—but then refused to pay out since I had “resigned” even though I technically was still employed.

I have no leverage, but am obviously pretty pissed about it. Assuming there’s no real action to take, but figured I’d reach out to the community to hear any thoughts.
