The third and (for now) final part of my Star Wars commander deck trilogy, wrapping things up with a Sith/Empire theme!
This deck is obviously more aggressive than the more defensive Jedi deck—equip lightsabers, crew Imperial vehicles, amass an enormous army and make your Sith Lord of choice as menacing as possible. It also borrows several mechanics from the LOTR sets so there's a lot of Amass and the Ring tempting you, but instead of an Orc Army, you amass an Imperial Army, and instead of the Ring tempting you, you embrace the Dark side. Like I did with my Lich King deck, I've changed the text on the cards affected by the "embrace the Dark side" reskin to reflect this while providing the player with a custom-made helper token to help keep track of the modified wording if needed. It's obviously still the exact same mechanic, but with a thematic flair :)
Worth mentioning is that since I've included a lot of LOTR cards in the deck, you'll see a lot of buffs for your "Goblins and Orcs." Those abilities on Star Wars-themed cards felt a bit immersion-breaking, so for the creature cards that are either Goblins or Orcs and the cards that have an ability text that affect these creatures, I've provided variants that exchange these creature types for Sith and Imperial respectively. These two variants include one version with the text exchanged, and one with the vanilla text. Feel free to pick whichever one you want—I personally plan on printing both variants on the front and back of the same card so I can switch it around depending on how comfortable my opponents are when "modifying" (read: reflavoring) creature types. Also please note that this shouldn't provide an additional gameplay advantage since there are no other cards in the deck that are affected by this change other than the ones already modifying Goblins and Orcs. Cards played by other players might care about those creature types though, in which case you should be ready to simply accept that those cards are still technically Goblins and Orcs for gameplay purposes.
Aaaanyway, this deck is as usual heavily thematic, which took precedence over absolute and perfect synergy because I wanted it to feel like an actual Star Wars deck and not just a reskinned meta deck. It consists mostly of Sith and their Force powers, as well as cunning Imperials and their gadgets. There's also a few Separatists that snuck their way into the list (deal with it), so consider this more of a "bad guys" counterpart to the "good guys" Jedi/Rebellion deck rather than a 100% Sith/Empire themed deck. I also finished the Star Wars basic lands collection, a link to which is posted further down in case you just want the basic lands!
That was a lot more than I might have thought I'd need to write lol, but I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I did creating it!

What's included in the Drive folder:
- Every card needed for the deck, obviously
- Some cards come in several different versions since I either couldn't decide on which version I liked the most, so pick the one you want or print different versions on the front and back and switch them around at your leisure
- Rest assured that the cards that have been changed from Goblins and Orcs to Imperials and Sith have regular, unchanged variants as well
- Some cards come in several different versions since I either couldn't decide on which version I liked the most, so pick the one you want or print different versions on the front and back and switch them around at your leisure
- A decklist in text format, including a Moxfield link
- Custom tokens
- A thematic cardback that you can use if you want to
- Full sets of Star Wars-themed basic lands for each color in the commander's color identity, i.e. Islands, Swamps and Mountains
It took much longer than I anticipated to make everything work together for this one, so I might have made some mistakes along the way. If you do manage to find something that's not supposed to be there or if there's a typo or another error of some kind, feel free to comment or send me a message or something so I can change it asap! I always seem to miss at least one tiny little detail, so please let me know if you find anything :)
You can also find my Warcraft and A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones decks in my post history, if you're interested!
