As an employee… why?

I’ll keep this as a simple employee rant to customers.

Why. Why do you all line up in the drive thru when the line goes to the literal main entry street and you block traffic for 30 minutes and wait for Taco Bell quality food, and the inside is packed as well. Then complain at us who are struggling with skeleton crews, and you can see we’re struggling (at our location there’s no wall so they can see everything from cooking, cleaning, drive thru, etc.), and then complain about why we’re taking so long and THEN complain about an incorrect item that YOU modified and said you didn’t want bcz you made a mistake.

And to top it all off, I get people everyday complaining about how much Taco Bell has changed and how things have gotten more expensive yet reman the same or smaller(what do you want us to do about it???)

Personally. Like damn. I don’t care, if we could make a positive impact, we would. But If you actually cared, you’d walk across the street to the Mexican shop THATS OPEN 24/7 WITH A DRIVE THRU(!) where you could get actual good Mexican food for a little less than double our prices and receive something 10x better.

Where, comparing our average burrito to their smallest, is like 5 of TB’s combined for like the price of one there.

I’m sorry if this is a bit negative. But customers that I deal with are a pain, I’m sorry if this offends anyone. But I had to get this off my chest, go ahead and downvote if you feel.

(Edit): Additionally. I wanted to thank and point out those customers that comfort us and see the absolute crazies and try to make us feel better and make us feel appreciated. My heart always thanks you and I freely give out our Taco cards.

Damn. Guess I gotta relearn material I already know and pay them to do it.

Just wanted to post this convo with a Department chair while transferring to a CSU.

Transferring in from a CCC, got my AST, and two additional Associates. This course, MATH 270 (Discrete Math) was a lower-div pre-req for transfer. I took CISC 246 (Discrete Math for Specifically Comp Sci) at my Community College, since it was a necessary pre-req for lots of classes for my major (Comp Sci). And they decide that it’s not qualified to be transferred and accepted as an equivalent due to exam weighting overall?

So obviously, Transfer credits for this course were denied and pre-reqs are therefore not fulfilled and my necessary Upper-Div classes that were planned are delayed and im losing it.

Also the fact that CSU’s are considering revoking community college transfer agreements and equivalencies as a whole is crazy. And that the only reason why they haven’t done it cuz of the process and work required.

Like I understand Bachelors have to be earned and credible. But I already did the work, and the material used and I learned is the exact same thing you teach.

Just kinda wanted to get this off my chest. Sorry if I’m rambling or annoying.
