Hi! Based in Western Australia have a MY 18 2.0L petrol Hyundai i30. 127000kms. Full Hyundai service history. I've owned it since October 24.
I had noticed the acceleration wasn't as sharp recently. Juddering when it first starts.
It's now having issues with starting.
It's happening daily, but mostly it happens if there is a small gap between driving. Occasionally it will happen first drive of the morning but that's rare.
This morning for example - it started in the morning fine. I drove a short distance- 4.5km. spent 30 minutes at the location, got back in the car to leave. It took 5 attempts to start. It has been getting worse with more attempts than the 1/2 attempts initially a week or 2 ago. But the last two days it's significantly worse. Sometimes it will have done a drive. I turn off the ignition and then turn it on immediately and it doesn't start
Sometimes it doesn't tick over at all, sometimes it clicks but doesn't tick over at all. Entertainment system comes on, dash lights come on but no start. All that seems to work is keep trying!
Just wondering what it could be before I go to the garage, or if this is common.
