Scored this point and shoot this morning by at an estate sale for $3. It didn’t seem to work, but a new battery in and looks like it at least turns on and takes photos.

Two issues I’m noticing right off the bat are:

1. The flash doesn’t seem to pop up all the way and can not be pushed to open up all the way. (3rd photo is taken close up to the inside of the flash component when I push it up as far as it goes)
2. The lens does not zoom in or out at all.

Anyone have any tips for trying to get the flash to pop up and the lens to zoom in?

It looks like some sort of caterpillar maybe?? Not sure because I can’t get a good look at him — he moves every time I try to get a better look!
