Hi all! I am nearing completion of my MSW and will test for my LMSW shortly after. I was previously an RBT for 3 years and absolutely loved it. I ultimately chose social work for the broader scope, but am thinking about doing a post-grad ABA certificate (before 2032 when requirements change!)
My question is: how would gaining hours be if I didn't go back to being solely an RBT? If I were to get a clinician-level role in behavioral health, would I need an outside BCBA to supervise? Could I do part-time RBT work? I've only worked in the clinic and school settings with the traditional BCBA/RBT model, so I'd be grateful for any insight!
