What happened to liking what you like?
nearly every single post i see it's either.
"x rapper > y rapper"
"x rapper is better than everyone"
"x rapper listeners are corny"
and nearly every comment is the same. you can't like something just to like it. you HAVE to have a reason. and if it's not something the majority likes then you're corny. on the other hand if it's something the majority does like you're an npc. i hate seeing ppl posting about their favorite artists and ppl in the comments spamming "kendrick better" "2slimey clears" "who is this bozo" "npc opinion".
whatever happened to just talking about the music you like? i swear most of the ppl here don't even listen to music and instead just want to compare numbers, hype, fanbases, aura just ANYTHING except the music.
also i have no beef with comparing the music of 2 artists. i love doing that. even tho music is subjective, comparing the strengths and weaknesses of artists to each other is what rap is all about. But people use it to talk down on ppl, larp and act superior just because theyre a fan of an artist.
