Is there any rational explanation for why the Flow app looks like it's from 2008?

I was genuinely surprised when I downloaded it - the hardware itself feels premium, and then the app completely undermines the experience. This is a major misstep from the Polar team, especially when you consider other apps that are growing fast purely on the strength of their UI - without even having their own hardware.

I vibe-coded an app myself in two days just to improve the overall experience. There's really no excuse for the Polar team to neglect the app this way. It's an integral part of the product and would absolutely drive more hardware sales if done right.
