10 km preparation - beginner runner
Hello, I have recently started running and I wanted to see what would be my limit. I would like to participate to a 10 km marathon in a couple of months.
I have used a xiaomi band to track my progress and for a 5,4km run I had the following results:
- workout time: 31:10 min
- pace: 5,46
- avr HB 162 - max 179
- aerobic 6:40 / anaerobic - 14:33 / vo2 max 9:27
I have checked Claude and he mentioned that I should improve my baseline to stay more in aerobic and keep the HB below 150.
He mentioned that I slow down and try to do 30 min runs and walk/ slow down when my HB reaches over 150 and start running again when it gets under 150.
Would that work for me to improve my aerobic training? Or should I try something else?
