So IIM Vizag is probably dropping results on 15th May
As per the tentative schedule on their website, IIM Vizag results may come on 15th May
Seeing this makes me realize why everyone is obsessed w getting into a Tier-1 college
I get that CAT has varc, dilr and quant but actually trying to manage all three together is way harder than I expected, like one day I focus on quant and feel okay then dilr just ruins it, then varc feels like a completely different thing altogether it’s not even about difficulty at this point it’s just keeping all three at a decent level at the same time, nott sure if others feel the same or if I’m just doing it wrong
started looking into CAT prep properly recently and at first i thought it’s pretty straightforward like you just study, get a high percentile and then you get into a good iim, but now the more i read and see people talking here it feels like it’s not that simple at all because everyone keeps mentioning profile, past academics, work experience, interviews and all that, so now i’m kinda confused like if someone gets 99 percentile isn’t that already good enough or does all this other stuff actually matter a lot after that too, and if that’s the case then what should someone even focus on more during prep, just percentile or overall profile as well, maybe i’m overthinking this but it just feels very different from what i assumed in the beginning so just wanted to understand how it actually works from people who’ve already gone through it
Saw this post and thought of sharing it here.
A lot of people say “tier doesn’t matter” technically true, but this shows the reality, you can reach a very good level even from Tier 3 + Tier 2 MBA but it takes YEARS of switching, patience, and the right moves
So I did a reimbursement collab through an agency where I had to order a Foxtale product from Tira and then submit a review to complete it and honestly I already knew Foxtale has mixed reviews but I really wanted to try their mask for a long time so I went for it and everything was fine till I received the product and after a week I tried to submit the review and it just kept showing some error occurred every single time so I thought maybe app issue and tried from Chrome but same thing happened and then I opened the product page to review from there and it literally said I need to order the product first when it is already in my order history so now I am just stuck because I cannot submit the review and cannot complete the collab and my money is basically stuck because of this and I even mailed Tira support properly explaining everything and got no response at all and it has been a month now so at this point I really do not understand what I am supposed to do or if I just lost my money like this has anyone else faced this or is it just me
i’ve been trying to understand how much weight past academics actually carry during interviews. some say it’s significant, others say performance in the interview matters more. curious how this balance really works
i’m trying to understand this better because i see people with high percentiles still worried about their profile. does a strong percentile compensate for an average profile or does profile still play a big role in shortlists?
sometimes it feels like there’s too much to cover and i end up jumping between topics without a clear plan. do you guys follow a strategy or just go with whatever feels weak at the moment?
