Recently I updated my iPhone to the latest iOS version. I was using Google Authenticator for my Roblox account, but when I redownloaded the app, all my codes were gone.
I tried contacting Roblox support to disable 2FA and provided proof that I’m the actual owner, but every reply I get is the same automated response saying I need to verify using 2FA. I only have my email linked (no phone number or passkeys), so I’m stuck. I can't add or link my number due to the 2FA prompt that keeps showing up.
They also say they can’t disable 2FA on my behalf, but I’ve seen posts where a few people were able to get their accounts recovered, so I’m not sure how true that is. I haven’t been able to reach a real human just repeated bot responses. As of today this is my fifth attempt of trying to get a human reply with no success.
I also had backup codes from about 10 months ago, but none of them worked, and I don’t remember generating new ones.
This whole situation is really frustrating. I don’t want to lose my account or be locked out permanently. Has anyone dealt with this before or knows how to actually reach a human at Roblox support? Any advice would actually really help me.
