This is my first time receiving a BG check to work for a company. I submitted my information on the 29th and it is saying I will not get my results until the 12th. Is it normal for it to take this long? I have been holding out on putting my 2 weeks in since the company says I have to be cleared before starting, and it is the one thing holding me up. I believe they are doing criminal, education, work history, and some other things.
They have reached out twice asking me for my social and a copy of my degree.
I went to a private college, and my records are not in Student Clear Housing. My records are on a finical hold at my school so maybe that is causing a delay?
Or will the school release the records to them even though they will not release them to me personally?
