I'm the one who had an ultrasound last week because of my fibroids. Well, apparently the three I already had have gotten bigger and I have grown a fourth one. My uterus is also swollen, to the point where it's taking up my entire pelvis and going beyond it; all the way up to my belly button apparently. The ultrasound tech said I have the uterus of a 20 week pregnant woman (I have never been pregnant). I named them while I was there and she thought it was funny

My surgeon said that because my uterus is so big, it would be easier on my body and my recovery if they switched to do it with a robot. However, she doesn't know how to use the robot, but a colleague does. So the colleague is going to be doing the surgery and my doctor is going to be assisting. Since we're switching doctors, we have to change my surgery date and we're moving it up a week. I'm now very aware of pain and how many times a day I pee.
