MSGIER Pilatus NGX PC-12 questions
I’m just getting back into GA type flying. DCS has been my sim of choice until lately. Bought the above Pilatus add-on and it’s been quite fun flying it. I do have a few questions about it.
It shows prop and fuel condition levers (at least that what I believe them to be) but my understanding and experience is they don’t do anything in the NGX. It is basically a Fadec controlled engine. Is this correct? If so why are they even there? A real NGX doesn’t even have them.
Second, when I start in VR, the Honeywell Pilot PFD shows options to be selected in the bottom but no corresponding button to press…is this a bug in the Sim? It takes some of the immersion away having to switch to a 2D view then pop out the PFD to set up AP, routes, flight plans etc.
3rd for the life of me I cannot get but a few different pages on the lower MFD other than airplane systems. At one point it pulled up some random Sectionals overlayed with management systems. Is there a good guide to this plane other than the ACTUAL POH from Pilatus?
