this wristlet purse belonged to my grandmother (maybe great grandmother). I found it as I was going thru things my mom had tucked away, and clearly it's chain mail with a serpentine strap. I can see green oxidation on the strap and in a spot or two on the body.

I don't know anything about it, but i'd like to clean it up.

any suggestions?

It has to be from the 1920s or earlier.
