Hello, My little brother split hot oil on his arm and partially on his chest. The burn center doctors told us to pop his burn blisters daily and remove any growing skin on the wounds. I’ve been researching online and every article states that popping these blisters is not recommended and could lead to infection? I’m just concerned that maybe we weren’t given the correct advice but I don’t want to go against doctor’s orders. I of course am not looking for a diagnosis, just curious if maybe we should get a second opinion (another doctor) on how to treat his wounds.
