This was hard.

The beginning definitely felt pretty weak to me, and Herrenvolk is, for now, one of the most boring mythology episodes, nothing really happens, just pointless chasing.

The season has a lot of really strong episodes, and some of them like Sanguinarium or Synchrony were just a little bit short of being better than they already are. And those are just some of many examples, there is also Zero Sum, Demons... They just needed a little bit more, just a tiny fraction of something.

But again that's just me.

Also, The Field Where I Died is a very underrated episode, and I actually really liked Mulder in it. I don’t know, I just felt some kind of emotional connection with him there.

Tempus Fugit and Max... what else is there to say except that they’re prime examples of how mythology episodes should be done.

And speaking of those, I’ve started to notice they’re slowly beginning to tire me out with all the endless chasing…

Also I thought that Paper Hearts will be a cute episode because of a title and opening dream sequence I was shocked when Mulder found that body.
