I will soon be on the lookout for a PhD level Scientist/senior Scientist position (molecular biology, not computational) in Paris. I am finding it really hard to get an idea of what the salary expectations should be and would appreciate any info on this.

I think academic postdocs are paid something in between 40-45k. I found very sparse and maybe outdated info on scientists at startups getting 45-50k. Somewhere else I saw something higher, like 50-60k. Is 60k within the normal range or is it an exceptionally high salary for someone with a PhD and a couple years of postdoc experience?
