So here's the topo

I'm (18M) an international student hoping to come in the uk for a Law LLB. The thing is i grew up in Europe until age 13 then moved in Somalia during the covid crisis. Then when i arrived here they made me skip 3 grade( middle school) and sat me in high-school. I struggled a lot in the beginning since i didn't know any somali, arabic and english(main language in school) so i mostly self taught myself using texts book and ytb video and that's how i managed to survive there 🫠. To make it worse i had to stop my adhd medication since it wasn't available there!!!

Now I graduated and i wish to pursue law ( i want to be an international lawyer). But what's holding me back is my high-school certificate which is shit ngl C+ And it's entirely because the examination system here is ... not reliable at all. My school transcripts is better but not the best either 72% in grade 10 and 11.

Anyway so i did my IELTS and got a nice score (7.5) and searched online and decided to apply to International Foundation Programs ? Through Kaplan i applied to York,Bristol,QMUL and Sheffield and Leeds through StudyGroup, I also got a bit bold and applied for Edinburgh IFP cuz why not 🤷🏾.

I’ve just been rejected by Leeds and Sheffield (probably because my grades look weird without context), but I just sent a technical note explaining my situation.

So if does anyone know how the IFP admission works or Did anyone actually got into a RG uni with a messy background? I also want to hear you opinion on my situation 😅.

Ps: I don't have any financial problems,I'm lucky that my parent can fully afford to fund my studies, np for the visa too i have a good passport
