Just whipping up the wooden handles for my new Carter & Sons tools...here are two... that's mahogany with sycamore sandwiched in the middle...still thinking about what finish I'd like...I made two blanks but I'm thinking about using other woods for the rest...sorry about the perspective...the blank is 2" and the finished are 1.5"

My plumeria is in a pot so I was able to keep it from freezing, but it is less than a year old...and this is my first flower! Smells awesome!

My drive center seemed stuck...when I was able to get it out, I'm seeing these circular grooves on it. When I look into the taper, it does not look smooth as I expected. What does this? I assume I can sand both the taper and the center and over come this?
