My boyfriend and I will be visiting Amalfi Coast in June. We are staying in Sorrento first and then Praiano for the rest of the trip.

Any suggestions on best (and cheapest) way to get from:

Sorrento to Praiano? Noticed that ferries generally don't get into Praiano. How much would a taxi cost?
Praiano to Capri for a day trip? Seems like the only possibility is via a boat tour - has anyone else used a boat taxi or ferry?

We only have 1.5 days in Sorrento - wondering if its better to visit Capri from Sorrento (day trip) or its worth spending some time exploring Sorrento?
