What if the DLC is just hell?

What if the reason it’s taking so long is also for the coding of bosses that may change approaches across different attempts? (Either other soldiers or individuals who trivialize Chronos due to awareness and sheer intellect)? Or maybe we have an antagonist that’s like Todd from Re:Zero that’s so acutely aware of a Null Soldier’s attempt at a “perfect run” that they drastically shift not just “a” fight but how you may be forced to approach any given situation just so they can have both the most immediate and unavoidable option/angle to kill you.

When I engaged with people actually closer involved with the program (The merest of Fifteen and Headhunter) I was forced to confront a somewhat blatant fact I think we all experienced: **There’s levels to this shit**. So I’m just sitting here thinking: if we’re headed back to Zero’s roots (The Jungle and Scientific/Government bases) that means we’re going to be met with people that are ACTUALLY aware of and well versed in Chronos (whether they’re using it or otherwise) leading to some way, WAY crazier sequences, fights, and alternating options/storylines.

THAT OR, OR, pixel game design with branching text options is hard as fuck and just takes a really really long time to do. But it’s a pretty exciting thought, isn’t it? What might you expect or hope for?
