Lowballing Sanemi
Lowballing the hell out of this so nobody says I’m wanking him….
If Sanemi’s slash is creating even one real cutting vortex, the energy is already absurd.
Back-of-the-napkun math:
Assume the vortex is roughly:
- 15 m tall
- 4 m radius
- spinninğ air around 100 m/s
(about 224 mph, which is not crazy for a lethal vortex)
Volume:
V = πr²h = 3.14 × 4² × 15 ≈ 754 m³
Mass of air:
Air density is about 1.2 kg/m³
m ≈ 754 × 1.2 = 905 kg
Kinetic energy:
KE = 1/2 mv²
KE ≈ 0.5 × 905 × 100²
KE ≈ 4,525,000 joules
That is 4.5 megajoules for a single lowballed vortex.
That is roughly a lot:
- energy of a car crash at highway speed
- about 1+ kg of TNT
- and that’s me being generous and keeping the estimate tame
Now look at the frame again. That does not look like some tiny wind puff. It looks like a giant multi-slicing vortex column.
If you upscale it even a little, or assume multiple overlapping vortex streams, you start getting into the tens of megajoules range fast.
Meanwhile a real human sword swing is maybe a few hundred joules.
So Sanemi is not just swinging hard.
He is outputting something like ten-thousand to hundred-thousand times what a human body should be able to dump into the air with one motion.
If that wind is literal, it is absolutely physics-breaking.
And that’s why Sanemi is him.
Not “peak human.”
Not “anime athletic.”
Not “very skilled swordsman.”
Bro is out here turning one arm swing into localized natural disaster math and then acting like it’s part of the warm-up.
