Local lad Andrew Cushin, gets stuck in, in the workshop helping make a brand new guitar!
The Luthier Sessions has a new guest each week to help Sam of McClaren Guitars make a guitar, in a 10 part video series. This week we have Newcastle lad Andrew Cushin picking up the chisels to help carve the neck of the guitar. He tells us some funny stories along the way too
For the first episode of The Luthier Sessions, we have guest Katherine Priddy in the workshop to help build the McClaren P-16 guitar. Katherine chooses the soundboard and the back and sides for the guitar, as well as making a start on the Spruce soundboard.
Katherine also tells us about her new album 'These Frightening Machines' and records us her song 'Matches' live in the workshop
