What DCS setting controls shadow contrast?? Terrain and objects in cloud shadows appear (to me) much too dark for any given time of day. I have adjusted various shadow and contrast option settings but have not discovered one that brightens the shadow effect.
I have been using a TM Cougar joystick for about 25 years. The J3 (or S3) button has always acted as a normal DX button modifier, behaving in an ON/OFF manner, to permit binding two discreet cockpit functions to the same button. Recently the J3, or any other button, designated as a modifier in DCS Controls app has begun behaving as a switch, that is, ON, until a second button press turns it OFF. This behavior manifests on a second joystick I have, as well. A DX button tester app shows the button behaving ON/OFF as expected. SOMETHING has changed in my DCS, but I can not account for it. Can anybody shed some light on this situation? It is very annoying. I may have to try complete DCS reinstall.
