Looking for help here. My son just bought his first bike. 2008 GS500F. Back story bike has been sitting for some time, apparently had a gas leak and they parked it and let it sit till we got it. We just did a fresh oil change, plugs, air filter, new Petcock ( cause of fuel leak ), fresh fuel. We have not done a carb cleaning yet. Bike had a fuel filter added from the out of petcock to carb, we replaced with a new one. We are having issues getting bike to run. With starter fluid we would get it run some, 1-2 times it wanted to try and run itself but would cut out. Again carb cleaning hasn’t been done yet, That’s next. Could this be our issue? I know these are vacuumed bases. I have 2 T fittings under the tank that have no lines to them.. can anyone help me with this, could that all be causing an issue? Also last pic can anyone tell me where that goes?
