Intimidation After A Negative Review About Q-Line Clinic.

In just 24 hrs, I have had about 25 targeted posts from newly created bot accounts associated with Q-Line clinic, following my review where I almost died at hands of Dr Kim Yun-jik(Yoon-jik).

These bots have flooded my account with messages each time I mention Q-Line.

I can understand why most people with a negative experience never come forward.

I Almost Died From Lipo At Q-Line Clinic Gangnam by Dr Kim Yun-jik (akn Yoon-jik). I Needed Two Blood Transfusions.

I almost died from 360 liposuction at Q-line clinic in Gangnam. Dr Kim Yoon-jik ignored safety measures which resulted in me losing so much blood and collapsing in the lift, my blood pressure was dangerously low and I required two blood transfusions, developed a fever, and was admitted into hospital for a few days.

Dr Kim Yoon-jik took out twice the agreed amount of fat that was legally and safely required and which I had requested and we had agreed on. He took out 10L instead of my requested 5L. I could have gone into organ failure and died in a foreign country all alone away from home. When I asked him later why he did that, he responded “There was more fat than I expected.” So he decided to place my life at risk, going over the safety limit removing 10L instead of 5L we had agreed on.

As I collapsed and laid on the floor weak, I heard staff speaking in Korean and laughing over me. They were still insisting I went home. This is despite the fact my blood pressure was dangerously low. It was the intervention from a surgery group I was part of, who asked to speak to Dr Kim, and demanded I was given Iron IV ASAP. Only then was I allowed to stay in the clinic for post liposuction care. However, there was no overnight stay so I had to leave the clinic just before midnight.

The next day, things had not improved so I tried to reach out to Q-Line. They were closed for holidays (I had not been informed) and it was staff at nearby clinic, Lienjeng, directly opposite Q-Line, who called the emergency services for help. I was admitted into hospital immediately and subsequently required two blood transfusions to deal with the blood loss.

Dr Kim had taken out more than what was safely required to do so resulting in me losing so much blood. I could have died.

The response from Sophie, the clinic manager, was that I “ruined her vacation” as I laid hospitalised receiving blood transfusions. She also went as far as telling me I had received “free Iron from Q-Line which was very expensive.” All this as I laid in hospital, sick and receiving blood transfusions.

Hygiene: Staff drew blood with their hands, the operating theatre wasn’t cleaned between patients so there was blood stains on the operating table, needles on the floor, etc. The nurses did not bother changing the sheets inbetween patients and expected you to lie on the same blood stained sheet, soaking in the previous patient’s blood.

Results: I have dents and asymmetry to this date on the liposuction areas. Some areas are flat. Some are bulgy. Dr Kim Yoon-Jik failed to give me my desired look despite me sharing tons of wish pictures with him. We had a long conversation before surgery and he failed to deliver. He speaks excellent English, so this is not because of miscommunication. But most importantly, Dr Kim Yoon-jik went against safety standards and what we agreed on, taking out 10L, which could have cost my life.

The clinic is refusing to issue a partial refund and is demanding for proof that I was in hospital and almost died. This is despite the fact everything has been documented and videoed and the Drs at St Peter’s Hospital, called Dr Kim to discuss my case. The Dr even told me he knew Dr Kim as they had gone to medical school together.

I posted about my near death experience at Qline clinic, Gangnam station, with Dr Kim Yoon-jik, on the other forum. Others have come forward with similar stories.

Is there a list of black listed clinics and doctors we can reference? It will stop us from all this trauma. This Dr has a callous disregard for patient safety and aims at removing more than the required amount of body fat. The legal amount is 5cc and he removes 10cc.

Can we have a list of these places to avoid please?
