Is STI (Digital Arts) still a good school for SHS? (cainta)

hallo! i'm an upcoming grade 11 student about to enroll in STI. i chose to enroll in their digital arts program because i would like to pursue multimedia arts in my college years. i was very happy and blindly confident in going to THAT school since the campus was nice, the staff seemed approachable, and my dream program was there.

until nakita ko yung mga posts about STI and their cons. i read that na hindi gaano magaling tumuro yung teachers, laging late, and "terror teachers" pa sila, i also read na hindi recommended yung school na'to for academic achievers. to add salt to the wound, i would get weird and surprised reactions when i tell my teachers/friends that i want to go to STI. they suggested that I should try NU instead.

but the thing is, STI is the only school that caters to my needs:

  1. isang sakay lang ng jeep
  2. hindi masyadong mataas yung tuition fee
  3. they offer the program that i want

however, NU does not check all these.

  1. i have to ride 2 jeeps just to go there
  2. the tuition fee is too expensive for us
  3. they don't offer any program that i'm interested in

in short, STI is the only school that i can go to that my family is content with, unless there's a nearby school in cainta that i can check?

tl;dr - is the digital arts program in STI good? is STI good for shs? what do i do if there's no other choice for my shs school?
