Renaissance Book

This is a 1580 book about law teachings for students printed in Venice. I just find it fascinating how this book was something that people read in Renaissance Italy, an era of great intellectual change. It's already mesmerizing learning about the renaissance, but holding an artifact that was actually used in this era is out of this world for me at least. Have you ever encountered an object that gave you a feeling of great fascination?

Book with signatures

This is a Latin scholar book from 1646, the book is signed by a man named Plisson in 1683 and 1684. Not sure why would someone sign that many times.
