all the other villains are imposing in a cool, almost suave way, whereas Howler isn’t a particularly cool person. he dresses like shit, isn’t very scary looking, he’s by far the least “sexy” villain outside of maybe Toru. He doesn’t have the calmness and suaveness that basically every other villain has. What makes him great is the complete lack of admirable traits beyond being born into wealth. Hes just an unhinged freak who if born into different circumstances would have probably turned out about like Joshu. but instead he’s put into a position where he has more money and wealth than anyone would even know what to do with. the moment where he pulls out a gun is so great because it’s like “okay this guy‘a just a fucking insane person.” Hes still a very dangerous man but not in the same way someone like Valentine is

in an age where we keep seeing just how weird and alien billionaires are to ordinary people, its great to see a villain like howler.
