Cherry Cookie is inspired by Little Red Riding Hood (but also technically the Gingerbread Man considering the game she’s from)

Diancie is based on a Carbuncle which is a fantasy creature which somewhat resembles a Cat or a Fox

Anyone have any favourite characters based on anything related to fantasy

After seeing the Cookie Run: Crumble trailer, I’m absolutely in love with the concept of the Timeskip Cookies, so I decided to give my personal favourite cookie her own Timeskip form (I honestly really hope Crumble adds a Timeskip Cherry Cookie). Still having the mischievous and chaotic thing Cherry Cookie had going on but now becoming a lot more tactical (with steel pressurised bombs) and she’s now living life the fun way, a few injuries here and there but she’s still the same Cherry Cookie we all remember!

In terms of her design, I gave her more of an energetic aesthetic, with her whole thing being about speed, with roller-skates to boot. And of course she keeps the red aesthetic and I decided to give her somewhat of a small/short skirt too over her suit to add more to her design, and to also still keep her reminiscent of Cherry Cookie but still different enough where she’s clearly older/aged up

I also decided to give her some mild injury/scarring too, plus I feel like considering how destructive Cherry Cookie tends to be, it wouldn’t be farfetched to say that she has a fair share of stories of injuries she received during her bombing sprees. I decided to give her a missing left eye which she ended up replacing with a button by placing it perfectly into her missing socket (dunno how she lost her eye, but still gotta feel bad for my girl) I also decided to add subtle scab scars on her leg, she also definitely feels like the type to have scars quite frequently considering her stunts.

I decided to give her a helmet considering Rebel CharTrap handles a lot more destructive and deadly weaponry compared to her younger self who merely uses bombs as more of cheap pranks than dealing insane damage. Plus I also thought it would be cool/cute to add the same bow she used to wear as a kid on her helmet, plus I added charring and cracks on the bow to show aging and decay

Finally, her bombs got a major upgrade, instead of relying on gunpowder they instead use compressed air with the immense pressure within causing deadly outbursts. Originally her Timeskip design was going to be somewhat of a mix that was based off of Cherry Cookie and her Time Demolitionist skin (taking aspects of the two) but I never got around to do it, but the mechanical bombs are basically what’s left over of the concept

A lot of people thought her name was “Cherry Bomb Cookie”, however it was always “Cherry Cookie”
