I have recently been struggling to download apps because my mac is running such an old OS. I'd like to also upgrade my chrome browser and I can't because my OS is so old. However, my MacBook has a "Condition: Replace Soon" notice on the battery and typically runs a little slow anyways. I'm concerned updating it might completely brick it. What do you guys think? Will updating it brick it, make it so slow it's unusable, or be totally fine (allowing me to use more apps)?
