Large Spider, immediately reacting to me, across from an Atlantic Rainforest 🇧🇷 Armadeira?
A local biologist I called from the preserve across the street came and retrieved the spider, told me it was a male and that these kinds of spiders are very dangerous. I searched up local spiders and Google suggested it could be the Brazilian wandering spider aka Armadeira, but I want to be sure.
It fell out from under a laundry bucket I was draining into the sink, and immediately went into the same position as seen in the video whenever I was close to it.
