Has anyone else noticed a massive shift in Handshake? It feels less like a career starter for students, with over 90% of the job postings in some degree being stale or suspicious, and more like a high-volume, income-driven app—similar to the current state of Indeed/LinkedIn.
I’m seeing an insane amount of outdated postings, ghosting, and increasing reports of scams/sketchy AI training projects. Are we actually seeing true results from this anymore?
Also, has anyone actually benefited from the Handshake AI projects/fellowships? Or is it just another data-harvesting apparatus? Would love to hear honest experiences.
