I may be missing something here, therefore any help be appreciated. Due to using aliases and having lots of emails hitting, I have filters set up to move emails into relevant folders as they land. I can the. Access as needed.

Standard notifications work fine, and I get a lock screen pop up etc, however the red app badge does not seem to reflect or show vol of emails. It only works if the email is not treated by the filter and left in inbox not moved to a folder.

Is there a way for this to work, or can it only be tied to the standard inbox etc.

So if I missed the notification and look at the app logo, it will not show any red badge; however there could be 15 emails sitting unread in folders.
