This is my recently inherited 06 CR-V. My grandma bought this car brand new at a dealer in Salem, OR. This car has been driven by most of her grand children and has so many memories behind those miles.
She gifted me the car as she is no longer able to drive, but under one condition. To get it to 500k miles. She has been meticulously maintained a majority of her life with only OEM parts and fluid replacements. Original engine and transmission.
My grandma used to have all the records but during the sale of her house they got thrown out. During the end of her driving years, maintenance was put to the side as money became more tight. So when I got it, it needed and still needs a few things.
I've replaced 3 of 4 engine mounts. Followed up with doing the valve cover gasket then noticed a leak at the thermostat housing. The original started finally died so that was replaced.
