So, I have a 50 foot extension cord on a pivoting retractable reel (Reel works brand). I love this thing and it's one of my favorite purchases for the garage. Well today I foolishly over extended it doing work outside and I disengaged the spring mechanism and it will not retract.
I took the casing apart but really had no idea what to do. Got it back together and I am thinking I now just have an extension cord.
Wondering if anyone has ever repaired one of these before? It was close to $200. Don't know if I will buy a new one even though I loved this.
