I honestly don’t understand the whole shitstorm. Sure, there are definitely things that could be improved in the game, but all these negative review bombs are completely unjustified. Arrowhead is clearly trying their best. At the end of the day, they are just people doing what they can. I simply think that sometimes they miss the mark with certain decisions. Maybe a more direct and explicit survey system would work better than the current general feedback approach.
I think most players are actually very happy with the current state of the game: new enemies, weapons, biomes, support tools, and overall fresh content.
Most importantly, I’m having a blast playing with friends and random people. I really like the in-game community and constantly meet new people.
The game is insanely fun, I’m almost addicted to it at this point.
For me, Level 8 is currently the perfect difficulty. The purple chaos and teamwork are absolutely necessary to win, and that’s exactly what makes it so fun.
There are, however, a few things that I genuinely think should be adjusted:
Ship upgrades

Level cap: instead of increasing the cap, I think a Prestige system would be much better. Start again at Level 1 with 250 medals, Warbonds stay unlocked but without the unlock progress, and the player card gets a star.

Swimming: right now it feels completely random how far you can swim. Maybe it should be connected to stamina instead. It’s also really frustrating that samples are completely lost when drowning.

Assisted reloads: it would be amazing if teammates could take ammo directly from the shooter’s backpack instead of having to drop it first so the helper can equip it. That would massively improve teamwork.

More support-focused loadout themes, for example electric-based support or medic-style loadouts.

General bug fixes

Loadout slots instead of reselecting everything from scratch every dive.
