New dichroic etching pen technique

New dichroic etching pen technique

I devised an alternative approach to drawing and etching imagery onto dichroic glass using a new resist pen system.

One of the biggest differences in this course is the working window during etching. The traditional Sharpie method begins breaking down very quickly once the etching cream is applied, giving a short window before the design starts becoming eroded.

The resist pen method I discovered withstands the etching cream much longer, giving a far more manageable working window and allowing multiple pieces to be etched at once with much greater control.

Also, before etching, the drawing can be corrected, and fine internal detail can be added inside the design.

I made a short course about it, released today if interested- For more information click on the link:

An acquaintance friend of mine runs an invention support business.

Currently clients pay 50% upfront and 50% on completion for services including invention improvement.

They are considering adding a model where, if the product becomes profitable, the company would also take 50% of profits for 3 years.

From an inventor’s perspective, how would you react to this? Would it put you off completely, or could it feel fair depending on the support?

Would this make you less likely to even enquire in the first place?
