Location: We're in Texas, she is in the Phillipines. My friend got his long distance girlfriend pregnant over there and while he was there he proposed to her to one day get married. He doesn't seem too serious about their marriage or even trying to actually get her over here to the states. He thinks if he goes over there and signs the birth certificate acknowledging he's the father when it's born he can just take the baby home with him to the states. I told him I don't think he can do that. So we're wondering if the mom agrees to that will he be able to take the baby home with him? I have no idea if they're actually going to get married or how serious they are with that. From outside looking in it doesn't look like they ever will.
